When the clock hits zero:
We are not asking for politics.
We are asking for powdered amino acids.
We are not asking for permission to protest.
We are asking for elemental formulas and intravenous nutrition for children who weigh less than your laptop.
We are asking, begging, for the global community to act.
To every government and border authority:
Open the gates. Let the trucks through.
Break the blockade on formula.
Stop the death countdown.
If you delay, they will die.
And history will remember that it was not a bomb, but bureaucracy that ended their lives
The pediatric ICU at Gaza Children’s Hospital is down to its final supply of infant formula. In less than 48 hours, that too will be gone.
This is not an abstraction. This is not political rhetoric. This is the countdown to the death of children.
Hundreds of Gaza’s most vulnerable—newborns, toddlers with complex congenital diseases, infants with GI malformations, and children recovering from burns, trauma, and sepsis—rely on highly specific medical nutrition. These are not optional feeds. These are not simple substitutes for breastmilk or water and rice. These are clinical lifelines.
There is no substitute.
There is no workaround.
There is only time. And we are running out.
Gaza Children’s Hospital is 48 hours away from completely running out of infant and clinical formulas.
This isn’t “just” hunger—it’s a lethal shortage. Hundreds of critically ill infants and toddlers depend on specialized formulas for survival. No alternatives exist. Without them: pancreatitis, metabolic collapse, seizures, cardiac failure, organ crises, psychological breakdown—and death.
To every human being: whether you are Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Zoroastrian, Jew, Catholic, agnostic or atheist, this is our moment to stand together.
We pray. We press. We act, for these fragile lives.
PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Gaza Formula Countdown 2025 Launches 48-Hour Emergency Campaign to Save Infants in Gaza
Gaza - A coalition of U.S. medical professionals currently working at Nasser Hospital in Gaza have launched
an emergency campaign, Gaza Formula Countdown 2025 (www.GFC25.org), to raise awareness and
demand urgent humanitarian access to infant formula. The El-Tahrir (Freedom) Children's Hospital, part of
the Nasser complex, has fewer than 48 hours of medical-grade infant formula remaining.
"Children with complex medical conditions-burn victims, premature infants, neonates recovering from
surgery-will die without this formula," said Dr. Mark Brauner, an emergency physician from Eugene, Oregon,
currently volunteering at the hospital with Rahma Worldwide. "This is not political. It is clinical. There is no
substitute."
The countdown began at midnight Eastern Standard Time, June 21. The team is calling on world leaders,
including the U.S. government, the World Health Organization, the EU, China, and Israeli authorities, to open
crossings and allow large volumes of specialized formula into Gaza immediately.
For more information or to get involved, visit www.GFC25.org or contact Dr. Brauner directly at WhatsAp: +1-458-285-2155.
FACT SHEET / BACKGROUNDER
FACT SHEET - Gaza Formula Countdown 2025
WHAT: Gaza Formula Countdown 2025 is an emergency awareness and advocacy campaign to prevent mass infant
mortality due to the depletion of medical-grade formula in Gaza.
WHO: Led by U.S. physicians volunteering at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, Gaza, in collaboration with Rahma Worldwide.
WHY:
- Less than 48 hours of specialized infant formula remain at El-Tahrir Children's Hospital.
- Hundreds of medically fragile children require exact nutritional formulations to survive.
- Substitutes like milk, rice water, or calories from other sources can result in seizures, coma, and death.
- Many mothers are unable to produce breast milk due to trauma and malnutrition. Others have been killed.
- Local and regional suppliers are cut off by border restrictions.
DEMAND:
Open the borders immediately and allow safe passage for large volumes of formula into Gaza. If the
crossings remain closed, consider an airdrop to hospital grounds.

Call for global action before it's too late
Dear Senator (place name),
My name is (place name). I am from (place location).
In Gaza Palestine, there is fewer than 48 hours of medical-grade infant formula remaining. These formulas are not optional-they are clinical lifelines for neonates, post-surgical children, and infants with metabolic disorders.
To help address this, we launched Gaza Formula Countdown 2025 (www.GFC25.org), a 48-hour awareness
campaign that began at noon on June 21, EST. Our goal is to encourage rapid public mobilization and governmental action to ensure formula enters Gaza immediately. Gaza Formula Countdown 2025
